Back pain
Education, manual therapy and exercise for back pain and symptoms referred into the leg.
Lower back symptoms can include pain on sitting, muscle spasm, numbness, pain across the lower back and pain referred into the leg.
These can relate to disc degeneration, narrowing of the spinal canal, arthritis, muscle inflammation or nerve impingement. Evidence increasingly points to mental health, stress, sleep quality and sitting posture as contributing factors.
Treatment combines education, lifestyle modification, manual therapy — soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation — and exercise programs. Kwong has substantial experience in chronic lower back pain from radiculopathy and acute lower back pain in sporting populations.
This page is general information about a condition and the treatment we offer. It is not individual clinical advice, and it is not a prediction of your result. What is right for you depends on your own assessment.
