Hydrotherapy

Warm-water exercise programs for people who find land-based exercise difficult.

Exercising in warm water reduces the load through joints, which can make movement possible for people managing weight-bearing, balance or pain problems. It suits chronic pain, arthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation and mobility or balance issues.

Kwong can access the hydrotherapy pools at University of Canberra Hospital and John James Hospital to run individual programs. Both pools have assisted entry and exit, accessible bathrooms and accessible parking.

This page is general information about a condition and the treatment we offer. It is not individual clinical advice, and it is not a prediction of your result. What is right for you depends on your own assessment.
